With Digital Video Recorder (DVR) service from LigTV, you will be able to record up to 160 hours of Standard Definition (SD) television!  The main purpose of DVR service is for you, the customer, to be able to record programming that you would normally have to miss in live programming feeds due to conflicting plans.  DVR service allows you to watch TV on YOUR time, whenever it is most convenient for YOU.

Q:  How does a DVR work exactly?

A:  In a nutshell, a DVR is a glorified hard drive inside a fancy box that looks nice in your entertainment center.  The hard drive is connected to the outside world through a variety of jacks on the back of the box.

The television signal comes into the DVR's built-in-turner through our cable or fiber connection.   And then when you, the customer, have recorded anything and go to view it, you will be watching the programming from your hard drive.

A:  DVR service from LigTV is $6.95 a month.

Q:  How many DVR's can I have in my residence?

A:  On a DSL (Copper) connection you can only have one depending on your location.  But on a Fiber (FTTH) connection you can have at least 2 depending on your other services.  (When getting connected, the service men will better know how many you can have.)
